Corsica Ferries digitalises onboard communication and entertainment with Seafy®'s Multiroom Audio System.
The Company introduces Seafy®'s Multiroom Audio System to automate and centralise multilingual voice communications, integrating it with the audio systems already installed on board.
Milan, 24th September 2026 - Corsica Ferries has introduced Seafy® MAS (Multiroom Audio System) on board, the solution developed by Seafy® to digitalise and centralise the management of announcements and audio broadcasting across the entire fleet.
MAS integrates with the audio system already installed on board, without requiring new cabling or the replacement of speakers. From a single platform, the crew can manage multi-zone voice announcements, background music, service communications and commercial content.
With MAS, announcement content is created once and automatically converted, through AI-based voice generation, into a multilingual message ready to be scheduled or broadcast in real time across the ship's different areas via multi-zone audio management. The system has thereby digitalised a task that on many ships still required direct crew intervention, particularly when the same message had to be repeated in multiple languages at different points during the crossing.
This allows the Company to make onboard communication more consistent, reduce manual crew workload and centrally manage operational, informational and commercial messages in all required languages.
The system also allows announcements and schedules to be planned in advance, managing the ship's different audio zones independently. A traditionally manual function thus becomes an integrated digital process, enabling voice announcements to be generated in any existing language.
The introduction of MAS on board Corsica Ferries is part of a wider onboard digitalisation path that builds on existing infrastructure, adding new levels of automation and software management without increasing technical complexity on board.
Alongside voice communication, Corsica Ferries is also integrating Radio Seafy® on board, the audio platform that delivers music, content and branded communications directly through the onboard portal and, thanks to integration with MAS, into physical areas of the ship such as lounges, bars and common spaces. This integration makes it possible to broadcast themed channels tailored to passengers' musical tastes, thematic areas and ship zones.
